The summer has been rather hot this year. Don’t get me wrong, mind you, I prefer this summer heat to the bitter cold winter weather we had this year! Anyway, what better way to take advantage of the warm weather than to spend a day at the pool? Well, Cindy and the boys favorite cousin, Katie, did just that…

It’s Christmas morning, and the kids are still asleep, well, not really asleep, the boys are playing in their cribs and Kameran is in that twilight realm between dreams and reality. Just enough time to capture the moment just before the carnage begins…

So many presents, so little time…

The boys big sister, Jess, and niece other big sister, Kameran, came to visit for a few days. They flew into Philly and although the airport is less than 50-miles away from the house, it took us almost 2-1/2 hours to get there because the traffic on the PA turnpike is…just….awful! Anyway, we made it there and back, and Jess and Kam only had to wait a little while…well, 20-minutes or so, which probably seemed like an extraordinarily long time after an afternoon spent traveling.
Today, everyone visited “Kids Castle” in nearby Doylestown. The castle is an eight story wooden playground structure designed & named by children of Doylestown Township through an art contest in 1996. As you cross over the drawbridge, you enter a magical world that includes a 35-foot high castle with a huge twisty slide, a very friendly dragon, a tree house, a barn yard, a rocket ship, a downtown promenade for toddlers, a multitude of slides and swings and a children’s amphitheater. It’s pretty darn cool, and the kids had a blast!
And there was ice cream! 🙂
Time is winding down on the family visit. Nana, Pa and the boys’ favorite cousin, Katie, will be hitting the road for the return home tomorrow. But today the sun was shining and the air was warm; the perfect weather for swimming trunks and kiddie pools…

After mom and the boys have returned from Disney, we spent a relaxing Saturday at Auntie GiGi’s. A day culminated in a “Low-Down Country Boil” with crab legs, shrimp, fish, corn-on-the-cob, and much more!

Cindy and the boys, along with Auntie GiGi and Big Sisters Jessica and Kameran, took a road trip to Disney World. They spent three days at the Caribbean Beach Resort and visited the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT Center, and Animal Kingdom…
